Office for The Grid Architects
The design reflects the philosophy of honesty and the use of natural materials customized in local yellow stones and natural light depending on the path of the sun is the predominant attribute. The client is a simple farmer and his brief was to develop an office space to further this passion in organic and sustainable agriculture. The architectural layout was a simple grid-based plan and the building was slightly raised on a platform flowing into the surrounding landscape and waterbodies accentuating the overall openness and the sloping roof subtly cue the vernacular design.

Local yellow sandstone for its color and texture with the changing sunlight, local species of trees amalgamated with aqua and fish and turtles developing its own ecosystem, and insect repellent plants have been incorporated, materials locally sourced and crafted, southwest has been integrated into the design with raised mounds and tall trees to protect from the harsh heat and sunlight of, the private cabins are adjoined by a waterbody and one wall of the breakout space as protection, led light.

the south west side of the office has raised landscaped mounds and is surrounded by tall trees so the interior of that part of the office which is , the arrival space and the private cabins are shaded from the fierce heat, the spaces are orchestrated such that they get maximum visibility to the garden, the punctures on the breakout wall allow the breeze to come in through the surface of the aqua to create a cool atmosphere in the cabins
use of natural material, sunlight with stone, south west raised landscaped mound, protection from the harsh sunlight and heat, shingles on roof but after first rain the fishes die after research, we realize the chemical to stick was the reason so we took care of this, the private office are adjoined by a water body and a breakout space wall to protect from harsh sunlight of the south west creating beautiful shadows and daylight shimmering adding vibrancy to the space there are punctures in the breakout wall to guide the breeze which cools as it flows through the it before entering the cabin

the spatial planning emerged as a direct result of an intent to have an open plan office format personifying transparency, the architectural layout was based on a simple grid plan the building is slightly raised on a platform flowing into the surrounding vernacular landscape and channels accentuating the overall openness and the sloping roof subtly cues architecture and interior, the Spaces congregated to provide maximum visibility to the garden the infusion of native local species of trees were strategically selected integrating aesthetics and usability corridors serve to link different spaces
the design reflects the philosophy of honesty and use of natural materials, customized in local yellow stones and resulting in the play of the self-textures and colours casting self-shadows from the natural light the ambience different during the day and night depending on the sun path and the artificial light is the predominant attribute, the natural stone walls say their own story aiding the ideology, the architects endeavoured to bring in nature as part of design, with spaces orchestrated to have a strong coherence to the garden, native local species of trees were strategically selected integrating aesthetics and usability.
The conceptual approach was to maintain the ethos of traditional to contemporary and to visually retain the light and shadow of the surrounding trees back to roots and keynote was connections transcending convention the innovative workspace resonating with energy and designed to foster collaboration and conversation the design reflects the philosophy of honesty embodied through earthy materials, textures, and colors and a strong belief in principles of modernism inspired by tradition and socialism
