Mixed Use for SCPG
Creating energetic urban public space with pedestrian friendly scale while respecting the existing urban context is the core design principle for this large scale urban complex. Designers opened up the northeast corner of the site, right cross street from Hongjialou Cathedral which is a historical landmark of the city, and dedicated it as a cultural plaza. At the center of this plaza is the renovated 100-year-old Sister House. This unique experience marks the entry point of the vibrant 24-hour leisure and entertainment district.

Mixed-use, urban context, retail, outdoor shopping precinct, stone and glass curtain wall
Located in the city center of Ji Nan, the project site is surrounded by historical buildings and crowded business district. By replacing existing popular but rather chaotic street shops with a massive new development, our goal is to not only introduce a modern indoor shopping mall for the neighborhood, but also continue and encourage the great tradition of vibrant urban sidewalks and public spaces.
The project started in April 2013 in Jinan and finished in June 2019 in Ji'nan City,China
By redefining the historical neighborhood in the city center, this project has became an instant urban destination and life hub for the public.
Occupying the prime location within the core business district of central Ji‘nan, this project is positioned to celebrate the city by amplifying the spirit of the street and blend into the historical context within.
