Residence for YUNZ INTERIOR DESIGN GROUP
The purpose of this case is to create a place for young, dynamic youth. The industrial style expected by the residents is complemented by modern systematic kitchen utensils, sophisticated furniture, and simple decorations. By combining all the elements together, the designer would like to meet the expectation of the client as a high-end industrial-style space and a place where is suitable for living.

The client believes in Feng Shui so that the designer not only needs to integrate the ideas between the two generations but also must take the Feng Shui experts suggestions. Because the clients son is fond of the rough industrial-style, the designer specially established a wall of red bricks in the main bedroom. Moreover, in order to build the ambiance of nostalgia, the designer paints the wall by using a dry cloth with the methods of dabbing.

Choosing the main lamp for the living room, specially picked the white handmade chandelier from France Serge Mouille with a neat and modest style which corresponds with the industrial style that the young client adores. As for the selection of lamps other than main lamps such as desk lamps and rack lighting, the designer chose the objects in black to ornament which he has always a good taste in it to balance the overall space tone.
Coordinating the aesthetic differences between the two generations of the clients is one of the designers missions. In addition, the advice provided by the Feng Shui expert must also be considered in the design. Respecting the clients idea is one of the important points. When constructing the galvanized steel beams and columns in front of the entry, it must be accurately measured to perfectly fit the two steel plates without any gap because the material is in the industrial style which extends upwards to the ceiling.
The project is located at the intersection of Guangfu South Road and Ren'ai Road which is in the center of the East District.
The designer spent a lot of efforts in adjusting the colors of the walls and floors. Although they are all in concrete grey, there are still quite a few details needed to do. Moreover, the concrete ceiling also needs to be provided with protective paint to ensure that no dust will fall when living in it. When connecting the galvanized steel plate in front of the entry, it also took a lot of time. Because space contains holes left by an air conditioner for repairing, the galvanized steel plate must be accurately linked up and needs to reserves some spaces for future maintenance simultaneously.
This case is rather special which is mainly based on the opinions of the client, supplemented with the clients father's idea. When discussing with them, the designer saw not only the love of a father to his son but also trust. Meanwhile, even though the disagreement appeared between the two generations, the father still chose to fulfill his son's wish, which showed paternal love.
For being more independent, the client communicated with his parents so as to moving out from the house that he used to live with them which not only means his self-responsibility but also a new turning point in life. The young client who majors in Film and have just finished overseas study, therefore, the designer wanted to build a place where he could chase his dream without holding back.
