The indoor space is decorated with the mellow and natural wood veneers, and eco-friendly paints meeting the F1 standard. The entire home is installed with the LEDs with high color rendering index and low wattage consumption. The accent lighting of MR 16 LEDs with replaceable LED bulbs reduces the waste of materials caused by bulb failure. The installation of T5 LEDs maintains the adequate indoor illumination meanwhile reducing the usage of lamps.
Given the limited resources and the rising awareness of environmental protection nowadays, the designers consider to show the essence of space with the least resources. Rather than using redundant embellishments, they present the delicate texture by using the original qualities and textures of the materials.
The project finished in May 2020 in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
The designers established different scenes in the home, in which the scenes can be used with interaction, flow, and flexibility. At last, the home is full of the sweet memories exclusive for the family.
For the position of air inlet and outlet, it avoids direct air blowing to people, and considers to remove heat from lamps at the same time, thus reducing the heat load in the residence. Air flowing indoor is also considered to ensure the fresh and clean air quality ubiquitously.
This design project presents its main idea by combining the modern atmosphere of magnificent simplicity and eastern artistic conception. Different sections of the space with different functionalities are independent, stable and connected at the same time. It is a healthy residence signifying the lively spirit.
