The southern block has 3 floors, which is made up of solid stone and all-glass transparent structures, forming a strong visual contrast on the main facade. Meanwhile, the upper part of the glass block is covered with fine metal grid with a spacing of approximately 150 mm, creating transparent and translucent visual effects. The 2-story block on the north is almost made of glass. Therefore, it forms a visual differentiation on the premise of elemental continuity with the southern block.
The largest challenge is how to create a flexible and transparent architectural image via design and construction, in order to present a light, clean and pure architectural temperament. Light and thin aluminum plates are used to connect the north and south blocks, showing a lightweight visual effect. Moreover, the long and slender steel columns in a row, with a diameter of 200mm, are placed to support the overhang of canopy, further increasing the sense of lightness.

The project is located on the east of social welfare land. Its south and east sides face the street, mainly for welcoming the traffic flow. The corner facing the street is set with a landscaped courtyard while the surface facing the welfare house is arranged an interior courtyard. The project consists of two parts with interior and exterior courtyards, independent yet interlinked, leading the visitors.
The project serves as a sales center at the early stage and will be transformed into a public service facility. It's supposed to not only have a pleasant image, but also be flexible in function change and blend with the site conditions to build integrated landscape space. The design team tried several ways of combining blocks, such as "linear", "L-shaped", "centralized", etc. Finally, the team selected a layout that features staggered and dual bar-shaped blocks, which encircle internal and external courtyards.
Jiangnan is a clean, gentle and pure heaven, where is independent from the noisy world, only for leisure. As the first project of Greentown China in Shijiazhuang, designers intended to introduce the gentle feeling inclusive to Jiangnan into the manly Shijiazhuang, in order to improve the quality of surrounding urban surfaces. The project enjoys implicit aesthetic images while the most important part of life aesthetics is to stress quality, which also embodies Greentown's persistence of developments.
