Design Challenge
The large-scale wooden elements extend from the entrance to the audiovisual area, and the warm materials balance the cold tone of the space.
Project Duration
The project finished in 2017 in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
Operation Flow
The curved shoe cabinet in the foyer fulfills the needs of traffic flow and is feng shui-compliant. The black stained veneer combined with red perforated leather in the grooves add a sporty atmosphere to the space. The shoe cabinet extends outward into an elevated floor inlaid with special lamps, which defines the space while highlighting the impression of luxury. The TV wall is made of foam and anti-pollution cloth from Italy to provide the best echo effect. The TV cabinet underneath is designed as a beveled center console. With lighting and materials such as leather and walnut, the soul is brought into the space. The seats are also designed in the shape of car seats to fully interpret BMW's style. The iron grille is inlaid with diamond mesh to designate the multi-functional area. The classic three colors of M Power logo are matched with iron parts to restore the characteristics of BMW's radiator grill. Featuring black glass doors, the rear display cabinet is embedded with the brand image of "M Power" in the openwork, allowing the overall BMW image to fully penetrate into the space.
Research
The collision of heterogeneous materials and lighting create a modern and stylish residence. The open layout and the light band establish a sense of visual fluidity.
