Much of focus put on the refined detail in order to enhance the luxury and high end design touch. (such as all- rounded edges ceiling profiles and custom made recessed light fitting in unique colour. material used: -laminated feature glass with unique fabric -resin hand made pattern wall panels -smoky frost pattern tinted mirror -anodized metal trim -wall fabric and vinyl cover -st louis pendant light -minnoti sofa
the design challenges is new design (from our end) have to blend into the existing design in harmony way such as the M & E services, the basic finishes provision such as the floor and bar counter area. the complicated and refined detail against the budget and timeline.
this project started in april 2020 in HK and finished in dec 2020. and filmed by local TV channel to demonstrate the design and technical issue in dec 2020
the original building provisions such as the services bulkhead and beams unchangeable and looks not good to the space. the new design on top in order to mitigate those less recognition and create a harmony design space.
cantilever structure for the ceiling golden colour feature light tough. lux level simulation to achieve specified lighting effect.
the design concept is timeless, form follows function, less is more blended in with luxury elements. the sea view from the balcony is blended into the interior space in harmony way by creating wall finishes reflection and minimal fixture concept. in order not to compromise the space and functional requirement, zoning is subtly by a multi layer of ceiling, as well as the varies wall material usage. tiny and elegant st louis lighting applied to highlight luxury background of materials.
