The project is located on the top of Lianhua Hill. The primary principle is to achieve harmony between architecture and nature. The rest corridor connects the men's and women's toilets, and forms a visual corridor between the square and the mountain forest. The main walls are fully open, leading the scenery and natural wind into the room. One side of the square is set with art perforated plate as a visual barrier to protect privacy, giving the square a strong cultural atmosphere.

This project is a demonstration project of China's Public Toilet Revolution, It is located next to Xiaoping Square on the top of Lianhua Hill, a political, cultural, and natural iconic area in Shenzhen. How to break the public‘s perception of traditional toilets, and how to build the architecture integrating with nature, how to solve the Toilet problem of tens of millions of tourists and how to provide public activities and rest space, are all issues that this project needs to balance.
The project started in May 2018 and finished in May 2019. Located on Shenzhen Futian District , Lian Hua Hill Top
In the overall layout, the building connects the male and female toilets of two wings with a resting promenade, opens the visual corridor of the square and the forest. The design takes advantage of the geographical located on the top of the hill to achieve maximum natural ventilation. Through the evenly distributed openings, the monsoon is introduced, and the shade space under the roof is formed a comfortable low-temperature airflow.
The toilet revolution refers to an initiative to transform toilets in developing countries. It was first proposed by UNICEF. Toilets are an important indicator of civilization. Improving toilet hygiene is directly related to the health and environmental conditions of the people in these countries.
