Home Garden for Aurea Garden Dagmara Berent
Crafting tranquility amid urban chaos, this project uses small elements and shaped trees for noise isolation, creating unique, balanced spaces. Following contemporary trends, the garden ensures privacy with fiberglass walls, and trimmed trees contrast with delicate perennials. In spring, the scene awakens with emerging flower bulbs, adding a radiant touch. The urban oasis forms a haven in the metropolis, distancing from city clamor while harmonizing with nature. Experience serenity within the heart of the bustling city.

An outwardly serene and simple design reveals intricate structure through balanced forms, styles, and textures. Consistent rectangles of lawn, pathways, and the central pool impart tranquility. Vibrant concrete and planked paths create dynamic edges, purposefully weaving through softened vegetation. A harmonious effect is achieved with a consistent color palette that unifies the entire garden.
Garden, modern garden, garden design, small garden, pool contemporary garden, large garden,
A wide, gray concrete staircase leads the eye out of the modern interior and through a recessed area with a fireplace to the pool and garden pavilion. Indeed, many clients ask for a "low-maintenance" garden, which is possible with a sustainable approach. In this case, this was achieved with clean lawn planes that mow robots and a balance of evergreens with perennials. This garden is subtle and features remarkable attention to detail, from the gas fireplace specially designed for this garden, which is a nod to the regenerative nature of fire, to the fiberglass walls and lutherie that appear in narrow spaces.
Mastering diverse terrain, our feat was concealing it through a sophisticated drainage system, directing water elegantly. The garden vision encapsulates gazebo, shades, paving, and a meticulously designed gas fireplace by the pool. Aluminum pots on concrete foundations harmonize the landscape. Pergolas, in elongated spaces, introduce a graceful pacing. Crane-installed, spaced large-format concrete slabs create precision pathways. Mirrors ingeniously enlarge the confined space, elevating the garden into a seamless masterpiece.
The design of the garden was created in 2020. The implementation of the garden began in 2021 and was completed in 2023. The garden is located in Wloclawek near Toruń, Poland. Garden shown in GadamyTV in 2023.
As in all my projects, what is beautiful is also practical. The garden relates to the estate with strong contemporary elements. I designed this garden down to the smallest detail. The space was enclosed with fiberglass walls that add intimacy. Original trees have been pruned to provide an intervening silhouette all year round. Green perpendiculars made of yew ground the design and provide contrast with the delicate perennials. In the spring, bulbs appear, providing a blast of light and joy to start the season.
For my project, we conducted a comprehensive site inventory, including height measurements and soil analysis, prior to drainage planning. The study focuses on a modern garden established on poorly permeable clay soil. The intricate drainage system efficiently addresses water management. Plant selection is tailored to thrive in these conditions, promoting optimal growth. Specifically chosen substructure for concrete elements incorporates a drainage layer. The project's impact extends beyond aesthetics, contributing to practical issues such as water management and sustainable design.
Embracing a modern estate's lines, formality echoes in the sharp angles of the pool and pathways. Employing a restrained planting palette, when balanced with texture, form, and color, yields a magical result. The garden exudes calmness, a retreat to relax. Subtle yet meticulously detailed, from the specially designed gas fireplace symbolizing fire's regenerative nature to fiberglass walls and lutherie in narrow spaces.
