The project is located in the northeast of the beautiful Shenzhen Dapeng Peninsula, with beautiful bays, dense mangroves and ecological wetlands. With a total construction area of 70,657 square meters, it is a comprehensive venue integrating swimming pool, badminton court, training hall, grand theater, cultural center and library. The design pays attention to the overall functionality, but also takes into account the sense of the times and culture of the space form, and pays attention to the application of new design techniques.

Unique Properties
The Baguang sports center is located in the east of Kwai Chung office, Dapeng New District, Longgang, Shenzhen, and ends at Yanba expressway. It is the most well protected natural land in Shenzhen, with silver leaf forest, egrets and wetlands. Combining the characteristics of space design in the seaside, based on architecture, the design emphasizes the flexibility of seawater, pays attention to the integrity of the project, and achieves green and sustainable development design.

Production Technology
The floor of the swimming pool uses anti-slip and epoxy grindstone floor, which is designed with solvent-free formula, and the walls use permanent condensate DPS. The floor of the basketball hall is made of sports wood, and the elasticity and friction coefficient are strictly regulated. The walls are made of wood and wood wool sound-absorbing panels, the ceiling is made of metal and membrane materials, and the partially transparent roof is made of glass polyester transparent plates.
Design Challenge
In order to protect the most ecologically intact natural places, such as silver-leaf forests, groups of egrets and wetlands, the design should not only focus on functions, but also take into account the spatial form of the cultural sense of the times, pay attention to the application of new design concepts, and design a modern, intelligent design. ,Energy saving and environmental protection.
Project Duration
The project design started in November 2019 in Shenzhen and finished in 2020 in Shenzhen.
Operation Flow
In the design, the advanced technology, equipment, excellent technology, environmental protection materials and safe and reliable structure are preferred, and the industry standards and specifications are carefully followed. The space design combines the characteristics of the seaside and is based on the building. The design emphasizes the flexibility of the sea water and the integrity of the project, so as to achieve green and sustainable development design.
Research
The project is a comprehensive venue integrating swimming pool, badminton hall, training hall, grand theater, cultural center and library. In the design, we should pay attention to the function as the starting point, at the same time, we should pay attention to the sense of the times and culture of the space form, and pay attention to the application of the new design concept.
Inspiration
The city is a creation with human as the main body and the place where civilization is generated.When the sun is slowly approaching the sea level, the busy day returns to tranquility. There are more people on the beach, some are walking, some are swimming, some are picking up shells, and some are playing happily... So, the cheers here were as high as the waves.
Project Overview
Shenzhen Baguang Culture and Sports Center has been a Bronze winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology.
