Condominium for Mr. Soo
This sea-front project is located at fringe of Georgetown city, Penang. The client's desire was to create a space that resembles a resort getaway. To achieve that, the Dare Solution team had to first dismantle and deconstruct existing furnishings before crafting, creating and delivering the final product of luxury using carefully selected premium materials that complement the client's vision and desired theme. The Dare Solution team aptly named this project as Ebony Symphony where sophistication, comfort and luxury come together.

This project is located away from the bustle of Georgetown city, overlooking the beach. The client's desire is to makeover the entire space into a resort ambience which requires dismantle and demolish all the existing finishes in order to achieve the luxurious holiday home befitting owners of exquisite taste .
Dark hues, Subtle detailing, Contemporary interior, Natural materials, Natural lighting
The team has come up with interior design mood boards to illustrate on the overall theme and communicates the feel of an interior space. In order to achieve the client's preference on dark hues within the space, we demonstrated substantial thoughts on the sunlight directions for natural lighting. Materials were selected in consideration of healthy living, stronger durability and easier maintenance, which is essential for a luxurious yet comfortable home living lifestyle.
The pandemic was a challenge for the team to complete the project as there were strict standard of procedure to adhere. One of the few laws were the limit of quantity of workers and limited working hours on site, hence the installation of the oversized granite slab was a huge challenge.
The project started in November 2019 and was completed in January 2021 in Penang, Malaysia due to pandemic and adhering strict Standard Operating Procedure.
This is a 1850 sqft high-rise condominium, situated away from the bustle of the city with a seaview, which was intended to be transformed into a holiday home for the client. Space planning was critical with the existing layout hence we have gone through hacking and dismantling works to maximise the space befitting clients criteria. Materials and colour tones selected were to achieve a ambience of sophisticated dark hues with comfortable displays of subtle luxury. Natural sunlights and lightings were carefully integrated to complement the dark interior tones.
The case study performed by the team was the electricity supplied per unit due to the unit being on a high rise condominium. As the electrical appliances selection and ducted air conditioning system require higher consumption of incoming electricity supply. Researched was also done on ways to deliver the materials to site due to lift size limitations, hence materials size has to fit in the lift size to be able to deliver. The team also studied on the incoming water supply pressure in order to maximise the functionality of the bath spa selection.
Design key of this project was to design a soothing and tranquil space as such that it depicts a holiday home. The main highlight on client's preference on natural elements such as solid wood and natural stones were the key elements to this beautiful space, adding a mysterious and masculine feel with dark hues to create a elegant and sleek visual impact.
