The objective of this industry was to create a methodology that would provide greater relevance within the building: light. Several skylights were designed on the factory roof so that the interior would convey a better state of mind to the employees. Stone from the region was used abroad to link the building to the territory where it belongs.
Bradco was a huge creative challenge for EM Paralelo. It was a very attractive architectural project due to its industrial characteristics and for being able to combine a factory in such a beautiful landscape. Representing Bradco in Portugal was a source of pride. Being able to contribute to the growth of the factory and the number of jobs was very challenging.
Bradco started in 2019 and ended in 2020
Brasport is in charge of several production sites and each year manufactures more than two million watch straps and leather goods for all market segments. It is also able to provide after-sales services on behalf of its customers, working directly with its branches and stores. The key, as with each of their collaborations, is a design tailored to meet specific needs that further the values of each partner.
Bradco industry is an industrial unit in Castelo de Paiva. With the objective of strengthening research and technological development and Innovation, a process that has led, above all, to the increase in jobs, the company of the Swiss business group Brasport activated an investment of more than 3.1 million euros, with financing of more of 1.5 million euros. Company in the sector of manufacture of bracelets and luxury leather goods, in which it assumes itself as a leader.
The inspiration for this project was above all the challenge of designing a different industry with local characteristics. Materials such as stone from the region, glass and steel were explored. The landscape was very important in defining the project as it allowed a lot of transparency between the interior and the exterior. Light has also always been an inspiration for there to be light, especially in the production area.
