Modern Villa for Sedakalac Design Studio
Kardelen No30, a villa project that was started while it was under construction, designed and implemented according to the individual wishes and needs of the family members. New functional places have been created by revisions on the walls. A holistic design approach spread to all spaces with productions and applications via various material selections and mixed techniques. The same design language was used from the entrance to the loft. Warmth is added to the dark tones that dominate the villa with cinnamon color and oak wood details. Timeless and functional spaces were targeted and created.

The villa with an indoor usage area of 340 square meters was received while it was under construction. It was designed according to the needs of a family of four, and its implementation was completed in six months. The same design language unity and integrity was achieved from the entrance of the villa to the last floor. The villa, which is dominated by dark tones, is broken with timeless choices and the warmth of wood.

All visible and invisible structural materials were selected and applied. Current and technological materials are emphasized. State-of-the-art glossy ceramics in 120 x 240 cm dimensions at the entrance, natural wooden parquet on the floor in the living area and rooms (on the floor heating), paint and wood paneling on the walls, lath and cardboardpier application on the ceiling, 60 x 120 cm ceramics in the bathrooms, 120 x 360 cm in the kitchen island counter, one piece durable and state-of-the-art ceramics. Natural wooden details, which are rarely applied on the ceiling and wall, are intended to add warmth to the environment.
Since it is a villa under construction, many materials were selected and ordered. During the covid epidemic that affected the world, the long deadlines for material supply created some difficulties. For this reason, mainly local materials were used, and imported products were approached with a distance.
The project started in january 2021 in Ankara and finished in july 2021
The infrastructure and top coating materials of the villa under construction have been carefully selected and applied according to the designed project.
After the project drawing, material selections were made and the walls were broken, walled, water and electrical installation, floor heating, fixed wooden furniture manufacturing, furniture, lighting, floor and wall coverings, fabric, curtain and accessories selection and applications were completed. Technological materials were followed throughout the project and implementation.
Spaces reflecting the same language flowing into each other with choices with a timeless and modern taste. Harmony of natural materials with technological materials. An effort to meet the needs of all members of the family with the originality that is tried to be created in small details.
