In Hong Kong where a foot of land is worth an inch of gold, every inch of land is fully utilized, it makes interior space design become very important. Walking through the hallway, you can see a large decorative wall with marble pattern to highlight the dining area. This project took around 5 months to complete the entire project from site inspection to design to construction in Hong Kong.
The process starts from initial contact with client and site visiting. After the floor plan development with the style and mood direction obtain the client approval, design team then develop the 3D design and construction model of the flat. After going through the communication and fine- tuning process with client, the final confirmation is granted after around 3-4 presentations. Finally, would be the construction phase, regular site inspection by project team is conducted in weekly basis and client also got the real time status update. The project is for a hospitable couple who love to gather with friends. Social gathering is banned in public area during the epidemic, we help to renovate the house and make it more gathering friendly. To balance the functionality and aesthetics of the design, the space has been rearranged to make sure every inch can be used effectively. By making good use of glass sliding door to separate different areas, it makes the space usage become more flexible and visually enhances the sense of space.
