Residential for Wu-Su Interior Design
The design team enhances the elegant design through the imagery of mountains, rocks, water, and rivers. At the same time, various curves link up the space. For example, the parquet flooring in the entrance hall symbolizes the image of wealth, the titanium panel on the ceiling of the dining room alludes to the pattern of sparkling water, and the pattern on the TV wall and the wall behind the sofa in the living room creates an atmosphere of splendor among the mountains and rocks.

The design team used stone as the flooring. The stone of gray, white, and blue overlap each other to create a majestic work like a mountain range. The sun, the moon, and the stars are the main characters in nature. They are on the ceiling of the living room, the wall back to the sofa, and the floor respectively. The moon on the wall behind the sofa is also covered with mirror material, creating the concept of the moon over the treetops. The dining room and kitchen are filled with the texture of water. Corrugated panels made of titanium are placed on the ceiling and match with free-curved circular lighting fixtures.
Stone, granite, art trim, nature, natural.
Materials, granite, marble, mirror, iron, titanium, woven carpet, art trim, eco friendly wood veneer board, eco friendly leather, etc. The design team used a lot of stone in the public area. One of the most special features is the round stone overlapping the shape of a coin at the entrance, which represents 'money rolling in' in Feng Shui. Meanwhile, the flooring of the living room is made of granite with light-transmitting and mica crystallization characteristics, which can reflect light like the vast starry sky when illuminated by natural light.
There were many challenges to overcome in this project. In addition to the layout and beams, the client was concerned about children getting hurt from collisions and wanted the table to have no legs. However, the structure must be sturdy, so the table is customized for the client. The design team used iron to strengthen the internal structure of the table, then covered it with woodwork, and finally topped it with green stone and coating. With these procedures, the finished product can guarantee durability and safety.
The project finished in April 2022 in Taiwan.
The door to the boys room was close to the entrance hall. After adjusting it, the door faces the living room, which can enhance the storage function of the entrance hall and does not disrupt the route. In addition, there is a TV wall in the master bedroom. However, due to the Feng-Shui consideration that 'the bed should not face the screen,' the TV wall is made into an S-shaped facade. On the one hand, this can bring the cables inside, and on the other hand, it can avoid the Feng Shui taboo that the client was worried about.
The space is filled with natural elements and imagery, echoing the clients preference for natural landscapes. In the public area, the entrance floor is symbolized by coins, which means money is rolling in. The stone patterns on the TV wall and the wall behind the sofa create the impression of a mountain range. Looking upward, the mirrored lighting fixtures on the ceiling are like daylight shining on the whole space. As for the flooring, the granite shines like a starry river at night.
The impression given by nature is powerful, such as the curve of mountains and clouds, sun, moon, stars, and water ripples. Inspired by the clients preference for nature, the design team used stone and Eastern Feng-Shui impressions to infuse elements of nature into the environment. Finally, the design team amplifies the advantage of the view of the park yet creates a place for home and social life according to the clients occupation and living habits.
