Unique Properties
Metal perforated plate facade: The exterior of the building is covered with a whole metal curtain wall made of perforated plates. The metal curtain provides shading for the interior, and from the interior, people can still intuitively feel the time and temperature changes of the outside. The metal curtain looks pearl white with a grayish tint up close, but with the different viewing angles and lighting and the folds of the metal curtain. Rain shed with QR Code: The QR code on the front of the train shed at the first-floor entrance is not just for decoration. It can be scanned to link to the company's website.

Production Technology
Building materials: reinforced concrete structure, f1 fire-resistance building materials, stainless steel perforated plates, iron parts, transparent glass, resin coatings, solar panels, three-layer fluorocarbon baking paint, etc. The fluorocarbon baking paint on perforated plates has good weather resistance and corrosion resistance. It does not fade easily and has a long service life of more than 20 years. Moreover, because the perforated plates are coated with three layers of fluorocarbon baking paint, their color is saturated and bright.
Design Challenge
The brackets of the perforated metal curtain wall are not fixed after the reinforced concrete structure is completed, but the bolts are pre-buried accurately during the construction process. The processing error of perforated plates and the three-dimensional folded plate design make the installation and execution more difficult, so the pre-buried bolts need precise workmanship to perfectly fit the metal curtain wall. Furthermore, for internal and external aesthetics, the metal curtain wall is a cylindrical structure, which makes it more costly and difficult to construct.

The project finished in February 2022 in Taiwan.
Operation Flow
The unique exterior of the building made of metal perforated plates not only brings a sense of pride to the employees but also attracts attention and photoshoots from passersby. Meanwhile, the QR code of the corporate logo on the mailbox at the entrance helps to market the company culture. Besides, the design team takes into account the details to maintain the building's exterior for a long time. They plan the metal strips on the balcony and openings, and the seamless snap-in aluminum cladding on the balcony ceiling, all to the client's satisfaction.
Research
The design team creates an exterior with a sense of technology according to the characteristics of the company. The perforated metal facade is the highlight of the building. The exterior wall coating is created by hand scraping and roller tools. Special light-colored paint is applied evenly to the exterior wall with a roller and then reapplied by the grooves on the roller or by tying a rubber band to create a unique pattern. As for the rain shed on the first floor, in addition to the QR code linking to the company website, solar panels are installed as the power source for the door sign.
