Residence for Light House Design
The designer believes that the vibrancy in the space can coexist with life. The pace of life, preferences, color, light source, etc., under the clever dialogue of light and dark echo and contrast, a touch of blue, a few clusters of green, paved with elegant beige and mauve to form the face of life. The vastness means that the user experience of the space is enhanced after design and planning. The effect of enlargement and extension can be realized visually, in terms of user experience and mind, and the beauty of life is thus born.

In the open plan space, in addition to the spaciousness and practicality, the designer emphasizes ventilation and lighting. The designer carefully evaluates the brightness of light in the space and brings light and greenery into the room through the indoor garden. Secondly, the designer eliminated the unidirectional convective wind direction of the long space through the exhaust system and direct the natural wind to all corners of the space. At the same time, the designer visualizes the flow of the interior through curved lines.

The site is humid and therefore requires a special base paint and a ventilation system to maintain the best balance of humidity and dryness. The next thing is to overcome the crosses in the ceilings of the public area. Considering the height of the client and not wanting to reduce the height of the space to decorate the beams, the designer supplements the curved trim with elegant colors to echo the walls and furnishings to form a harmonious and extended aesthetic while eliminating the abruptness and oppressiveness of the cross beams.
The project finished in February 2022 in Taiwan.
Unlike the traditional living room layout, the project is divided by the living style of the client. Since the client does not spend much time watching TV, the initial planning of the living room did not make TV the core of the living room. Considering the client's working habits and resting needs, the designer places the sofa in front of the elaborate glass indoor garden. Under the customized planning, the public area has more living applications and the original windows can form another complete sitting area with the indoor garden.
The space is customized for the client in terms of aesthetics, functionality, and convenience of living. The height of the gas stove and countertop, the configuration of the dining room seating and tatami area, and the selection of the bathtub are all customized for the client. These furnishings look good and are ergonomic, making life more pleasant. It is worth mentioning that the designer emphasizes ventilation and lighting. In areas where natural light is relatively insufficient, such as the entrance area, patio lights are installed to supplement the lighting.
Create a space for a dialogue with the occupants! Between the light, plants, coffee, and books, the bright natural lighting and breeze construct every moment of freedom in the home. The designer uses space design to create the best habitat for the soul. A perfect balance of life is no need to deliberately search for, people can close their eyes and feel the resonance between space and themselves, the "inner vastness" hidden in people's hearts.
