Residential House for NorthRock Design
The designers applied the broad perspective of the sea to the space. The functional areas were not deliberately differentiated, and the entire space showed a maximum open state. The staircase has got a C position in this home, as the connection between the upper and lower floors. In addition to the basic needs, the designer makes its existence fully color the space from the perspective of shape and material. The white perforated steel plate preset the path for the light, injected some sense of breathing into the space, and made the objects in the space jump out of the stereotype.

As a second residence for vacation and leisure, more emphasis should be placed on the dimension of "recreation" than ordinary houses. Practicality is certainly a consideration, but you don't have to follow the rules. A more relaxed atmosphere plus a larger space scale plus a freer interaction is what this project should create.
Interior, Residential, Elegant, Natural, Leisure, Sustainable, Warm, Exquisite, Modern
The main materials in this project are wood flooring, slate and latex paint.
Starting at level -1, the rules are being broken. The floor is paved terrazzo brick, with black as the bottom, dotted with snowflake like white particles, coupled with matte texture, highlights a relaxed and lively atmosphere, the "free" keynote will take root in every corner.
The project started in April 2021 in Qingdao and finished in August 2022 in Qingdao.
The French window of large area, let the relation of light and basement "mend fences". Just put some green plants or transparent acrylic furniture in the room, they can quickly become a piece, linked out of broad and bright space scale, forming a comfortable and comfortable scene.
Home is the best place of mind and body, and the second place is even more so. It should meet the owners' "ego" appeal and private demand to a greater extent, with a comfortable state of life, is the holiday home should have the feeling.
The material that furniture pledges and modelling also are happening inadvertently with the sea contact. Shell sofas, stone coffee tables and wall hangings in the living room create a fantastic illusion of drifting on an island. The wooden table is like a boat floating on the vast sea, with a white cloud overhead, which once again deepens this image.
