Its design features large columns and lush greenery, fostering harmony between humanity and nature. A central patio allows sunlight to create a vertical forest ambiance, reflecting seasonal changes. The entrance's Water Ripple Device and mechanical light tubes produce an underwater effect. This design creates an organic, migratory space where visitors can find sanctuary amidst urban memories, blending past narratives with a harmonious future.

Unique Properties
To encapsulate the urban memory of Taoyuan, an industrial hub in Taiwan, this project "reimagines" the essence of industrial remnants within the space, specifically referencing a historic flour factory with large columns, reflective of the city’s past landscape. By integrating a strategic patio, sunlight floods the interior, transforming it into a vertical forest that embodies the rhythms of the seasons and the passage of time.

Production Technology
At the entrance, a Water Ripple Device features a metallic plate that refracts light and shadow, creating an ethereal underwater ambiance. Inside, expansive "mechanical water ripple light tubes" simulate cascading waterfalls, immersing visitors in a transcendent aquatic experience.
Design Challenge
The primary challenge lies in crafting an organic migratory experience within a constrained space. While it is essential to "reproduce" the cylindrical form emblematic of industrial ruins, this must be achieved without overt visual prominence. Each area will present a distinct landscape, facilitating free movement and exploration, allowing individuals to discover hidden spaces that resonate with their inner moods.
Project Duration
The project started in July 2024 and finished in November 2024 in Taoyuan.
Operation Flow
This project juxtaposes two distinct forms of industrial remains. The first, the "large column," serves as a sanctuary for rest and privacy, while the second, the "small column," is enlivened by the encroachment of wild flora. This dichotomy invites a dialogue on the harmonious coexistence of humanity and nature within the narrative of the post-human era.
Research
In the context of the "post-human era," aesthetic medical clinics must prioritize the creation of immersive spatial experiences. This project not only preserves the memory of an industrial city but also redefines it through a new narrative, constructing a hyper-realistic environment that resonates with urban heritage.
Inspiration
Emerging trends in medical aesthetics have reshaped East Asia, intertwining futuristic narratives of the "post-human" with daily life. This design draws from the concept of the "post-human era," envisioning how a medical aesthetic clinic in a post-industrial city can evoke the collective memory of its surroundings, turning the clinic into a prologue for post-human exploration.
