The residential condo design is inspired by the clouds, strips away its elaborate embellishments, merging clear color palettes with organic shapes to showcase the most primal and graceful forms. The design use of curved lines, resembling contours shaped by natural stacking, blurs the boundaries of the environment. A sense of tranquility is instilled in the atmosphere. Immersing there, letting thoughts wander, people will find a moment akin to a serene painting that captures the serene essence of the soul.

Unique Properties
The Clouds is a residential condo with 90 square meters. The interior design use of curved lines, resembling contours shaped by natural stacking, blurs the boundaries of the environment. Through the gentle interplay of light and shadow pouring in from the expansive windows, it not only defines a warm and pure ambience but also radiates a myriad of warm hues from within.

Production Technology
In the living room, the ceiling was made slightly angled to embellish varying-height beams, with softly contoured lines melding into the ceiling, as if gazing out at the sky. These elements blend harmoniously with the catwalks and meandering platforms to infuse the space with diversity and depth. Meanwhile, the private quarters exude simplicity and warmth, enveloping the routines of daily life with the natural, unassuming texture of the paint. Therefore, a sense of tranquility is instilled in the atmosphere.
Design Challenge
The irregular shape ceiling in the living room is the hardest prat of this design. The ceiling ,which was all handmade by carpenter, was made slightly angled to embellish varying-height beams.
Project Duration
The project was finished in March 2023 in Taipei, Taiwan.
Operation Flow
Upon entering, privacy is maintained with a customized foyer, where an open storage area seamlessly connects with a curved wine cabinet leading to the TV wall, creating a sense of spatial continuity. Sunlight floods into every nook of the communal space to establish fluid visual connections between different areas, enhancing the perception of spaciousness.
Research
In this condo, designer designed lots of curves. Color is minimalist. Less is more.

The Clouds Residential House has been a Bronze winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2024 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
