In addition to the visual aesthetics, they particularly appreciated details such as areas for displaying artwork, customized storage cabinets, and large mineral paint covered walls for future display of paintings or collectibles. These plans allow the occupants to establish a stronger connection with nature and art in the space. The ingenuity and thoughtfulness of the design make Lucid Dream a dream like residence that materializes the imagination of its inhabitants.

To satisfy the aesthetic expectations of the residents, the designer utilized soft materials. The braided panels are complemented by patterned tiles and plants. The shower area in the master bedroom is covered with tiles with a ginkgo pattern, symbolizing calmness and toughness, in keeping with the personal characteristics of the occupants. Large color blocks serve as visual representations. In the vein of modern design, the designer used the dark and hard impression of marble with the warmth and softness of wood grain. The sense of technology is created by its cleanliness and casualness.
Technology, art, lucid dream, modern design, aesthetic concept.
Materials: titanium plated, magnetic metal panels, slate tiles, KEIM mineral paint, eco-friendly paints, KD PP panels, Italian tiles, etc. The color scheme is based on a warm tone. The large area of light colors and the embellishment of wood, metal, stone, and other elements between the ceiling, floor, and walls create a delicate and exquisite transformation. In particular, the beam through the ceiling is covered and trimmed with titanium-plated metal bars, creating a flowing visual effect.
The challenge was sophisticated structural adjustments and renovation of the old apartment. The site's uneven flooring, poor acoustic insulation, and outdoor water leaks needed to be addressed in the pre-construction phase to achieve a comfortable living experience. Another challenge was the mix of elements. The woman likes artistic materials such as tiles, weaves, wood grains, and plants. Finding the perfect proportions among the complex patterns was one of the challenges.
The project finished in November 2023 in Taiwan.
The residents loved the spaciousness and visual effect of the remodel. In addition to the visual aesthetics, they particularly appreciated details such as areas for displaying artwork, customized storage cabinets, and large mineral paint-covered walls for future display of paintings or collectibles. These plans allow the occupants to establish a stronger connection with nature and art in the space.
The site is an old apartment. The name, 'Lucid Dream', suggests that in a state of extreme relaxation, one can enter a place between waking and dreaming. The two owners have different needs. The male favors technology while the female needs a space for artistic creation. The designer skillfully blended these two elements to create a modern and artistic home. In addition to technology, the soft materials and selected artistic decorations show the aesthetic concept and taste of the residents.
The old apartment serves a couple. The husband yearns for technology while the wife prefers an artistic atmosphere. To harmonize the two, the designer adopted the concept of 'lucid dream'. From a psychological point of view, people can create art according to their lifestyle in a comfortable, natural, and awake state. The interior is a combination of technological materials and artistic materials. Different materials are used to create a multi-functional space.
