Sales Center for G&K
The sales center features ancient design elements derived from the evolution and refinement of the roof structure of Zhuang, which is one of the minority groups in China. It is also a cultural platform which shows the expressive force of ancient academy and promotes enterprise brand value in the future. The design concept comes from the ancient oriental academy building, which is a wooden stone brick structure with rigorous symmetrical layout. The entire space doesn't have too much decoration, being simple and delicate, full of traditional charm.

Production Technology
In the middle of the secondary lobby, a calligraphy art installation is hanging, which is inspired by the exclusively invited calligraphy works displayed in the Cologne Fair. Another art installation is set at the reception desk, which is inspired by the designer's perception of water. The two installations echo each other in form, and resonate in spirit, showing the thousand years' Chinese civilization and oriental philosophy.
Design Challenge
One of the challenge is how to integrate the traditional architectual elements of Zhuang and modern space functions in a balance way.
Project Duration
The project started in October 2018 and finished in November 2018 in Nanning, Guangxi, China.
Operation Flow
The screens on both sides adopted the traditional type of ancient academy, in which there is not too much decoration, being simple and delicate, full of traditional charm. These traditional elements come from the evolution and refinement of the roof structure of Zhuang, which is one of the minority groups in China. This is the biggest feature of the project.
Research
The interior design is an extension of cultural spirit. The design method is combined with local cultural elements to achieve a more attractive effect.
Inspiration
The design concept comes from the ancient oriental academy building, which is a wooden stone brick structure with rigorous symmetrical layout. From the sand table to the negotiation area, and then to the book bar, the symmetrical space layout displayed the beauty of the traditional space order
Project Overview
Tanyue Mansion Sales Center has been a Silver winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Silver A' Design Award celebrates top-tier designs that embody excellence and innovation. This award acknowledges creations that are not only aesthetically pleasing but also highly functional, reflecting the designer's deep understanding and skill.
