The project is a PC gaming space which features a virtual world scene. It allows the users leave from the complex and busy real world, and enter another virtual world where everything is ongoing. In the total area of 300 square meters, six separate rooms embrace the public area, in which two pillars of the original building extend into different blocks combination, connecting the chandelier and computer desks to form a diversified integration.

Production Technology
A large amount of perforated aluminum plates is adopted in the entire space, which form the main color tone and texture of the space.
Design Challenge
The business model of PC gaming club has plenty of limits to the space layout. After many times of communication between designers and client, an appropriate balance between management and design has finally been obtained. This is the biggest challenge of this project.
Project Duration
The project is designed and finished in August 2018, in Foshan city, Guangdong province, China.
Operation Flow
In the total area of 300 square meters, six separate rooms embrace the public area, in which two pillars of the original building extend into different blocks combination, connecting the chandelier and computer desks to form a diversified integration.
Research
Cold appearance and passionate heart are not contradictory. How to recreate a virtual world scene environment is the key of design, and both design aesthetics and club operation mode are combined in the project.
Inspiration
The design concept is inspired by the film Ready Player One. In the film, people are in a world which is in chaos and on the verge of breaking down. And a virtual reality called the OASIS is the hope of being saved, as long as wearing VR equipment, one can enter this virtual world with a great contrast with the reality. In this virtual world, even if a loser who is struggling in reality, he or she can still be a superhero in OASIS, and the far distant dream becomes within reach.
Project Overview
Bee PC Gaming Club 2.0 PC Gaming Club has been a Bronze winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2019 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
