The high cabinets in the kitchen are used as the border to the dining room, providing a gradual amplified effect between the spaces while breaking the restrictions for the size of the venue, offering a small corner with an elegant dining space. The back wall to the living room uses a peaceful ink blue color, creating a relatively tranquil color tone between the wood dining table and the wooden colored flooring. The end view is presented via the meticulously arranged stone flower pots on the balcony and the large plants with delicate leaves outside the building, highlighting the calm and natural ambience of the indoors.
The project finished on the 26th of Aril 2019, locates in Taichung City, Taiwan.
The overall television wall uses polished cloud marble to accentuate the modest quality and content, while the raised ceiling and the several types of media create a modern yet natural sensation; the warm color tone with the cold ink blue allows the longitudinal space to appear spacious without hollowness, and the delicate arrangement allows the space to become the center of life instead of showing off boldly.
Behind the public space is the secondary bedroom. It applies the neutral blue of the grey tone for the walls, highlighting the pale and medium-toned wooden colors. The master bedroom at the back uses dark-colored tones with white to create simple modern quality. Space is combined through colors; spatial layers are created also via colors.
The side forms into the open public space, where the display shelf in combination with the elegant wooden storage and glass acts as the intro, integrating the layers of spatial colors to jointly create tranquility for the overall space, while the wooden and blue tones highlight the peaceful ambience with a unique balance even in contrasting colors.
