Design Challenge
I can feel both grace and power when I communicate with Ms Xiur. Her talent and diligence in fashion, and the daily service she offers to celebrities are reminiscent of fashion masters of a past era. How can this space be made classic? Secondly, the process of bespoke dressmaking and selecting outfits is time consuming. How can this experience be made pleasant?

The project started in April 2019 and finished in December 30 2019 in Beijing.

Heaven Gaia, is a luxury fashion brand founded by Xiong which has been extremely active worldwide in recent years. This store has an area of 800 sqm and is located in the art district in Beijing. Because of Ms Xiur’s unique characteristics and the rapid development of Gaia, the sales space needs to be carefully reflective of her art.
Research
This is a flagship of Heaven Gaia. Gaia is a luxury fashion brand which has been extremely active worldwide in recent years. Her talent and diligence in fashion, and the daily service she offers to celebrities are reminiscent of fashion masters of a past era. Going up and down the spiral staircase in the lobby of the store can become part of a catwalk show, it is also a tribute to the designer Coco Chanel. The lobby can shift from sales mode to show mode. Water, as a symbol, is simulated here using new digital-technology. The "waterfall" serves as a background for the clothing.
Inspiration
Going up and down the spiral staircase in the lobby of the store can become part of a catwalk show, it is also a tribute to the designer Coco Chanel. The lobby can thus shift from sales mode to show mode. Two elements, wood and water, are representatives of the East. Water, as a symbol, is simulated here using new digital-technology. The "waterfall" serves as a background for the clothing. Two types of window display are made to create an interaction between the interior and the exterior.
