Residential Apartment for E.MA Interior Design
Everyone looks at home in different ways; in addition to the place to live, it is also the personal space to display one’s taste and identity. In this case, the house owner collects a lot of red wine, as well as fashionable boutique and artwork. The overall space planning is to let the collection become the protagonist of the space through the open pattern and display function.

The overall space planning is started from the exquisite luxury style, and let the collection become the protagonist of the space through the open pattern and display function. The public domain creates a holiday-like atmosphere, stacking with the natural materials, such as the non-decorated surface, stone, titanium-plated iron parts, and Soseki Natsume marble, to foil the dignified and grand atmosphere; with the open and capacious pattern, it shows the collections, which are clear at a glance.
Interior, Design, House, Luxury style
Firstly, the house of three bedrooms and two rooms is change to one bedroom, one living room and one wine cellar. The cabinet of vestibule holds the screen function concurrently, and with two display sides: the side faces the vestibule is used as the shoe cabinet and car model display, and the other side to the living room is the fashionable boutique collection cabinet. The three kinds of gray tone of the non decorated wall surface, stone material of the floor, and the stone skin of TV wall are compatible, and balanced through the wood grain of ceiling, and the blue gray sofa and carpet makes the visual highlight. The art space arranged in the corner also creates the depth of field and visual level, in addition to adopt the art painting collected by the owner as the decoration of the wall surface.
The TV wall is made of stone skin material, and each stone skin is very heavy; how to reach the target floor smoothly in the process of transportation, to stack and give a sense of layering, and to avoid accidental damage in the construction process, is a big problem. How to use the transparent glass in the cellar space, while maintaining the indoor temperature to preserve the wine, is also a challenge in the design.
The project started and finished in April 2020 in Taiwan.
The central bar counter is the compartment for the living room and wine cellar space, using a lot of elements to link the domain relations; for example, the column beside the central bar counter and the table in the wine cellar adopt the Soseki Natsume marble, echo with each other and create a grand atmosphere; the non-decorated wall surface extends from the vestibule, public domain to private domain, to brew the calm and stable feeling for the space of luxury theme, and foil the art collection in the space, to let the person and object, person and space generate the dialogue and interaction successfully.
The public domain is open and spacious; through the display cabinet and open space, it allows the owner to display the boutique collection and artwork, and the wine cellar is a feature of the overall design. The vestibule adopts the cabinet of two sides, concurrently with the screen, display and storage function; through a large number of non decorated surface and rough TV wall to build the relaxed sense of taking holiday, the use of stainless steel, titanium plating, and metal decoration creates the luxurious texture. The glass and iron pieces reveal the modern and fashion wine cellar, and integrate the corner of the humanities and arts, which is a field of wine tasting, art appreciation and interpersonal interaction.
Everyone looks at home in different ways. In addition to the place to live, it is also the personal space to display ones taste and identity. In this case, the house owner has rich life experience, collects a lot of red wine, as well as fashionable boutique and artwork, and hopes the living space can also receive these collections, to treasure every bit of memory in life.
