Residential House for Yuduo Interior Design
The softness of curves in the space reduces the sharpness of corners, symbolizing the happiness of the family and giving a scene a sense of roundness. The image of "circle" in the canopy is combined with the soft color and obscure glow. It is a bright moon guiding the hard-working children the way home and reflecting the endless love for them. The use of wood in the large area is like a towering tree trunk, bringing a tender atmosphere in the firmness of the room.

A large number of curved surfaces extend from the public area to the bedroom, creating a relaxed and smooth flow. The simple furniture leans against the warm brown veneer on the facade, extending the touch of modernity into the house without losing warmth.
The project finished in September, 2020 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
The hollow titanium-plated metal and pure white silver fox marble are the vista of the entrance. The light reflected from the metal lends an extravagant and restrained texture to the scene. The composite material structures the main TV wall. Different colors of wood above and below echo each other. The lacquered iron parts of the belt are in geometric trapezoids, connecting with the silver fox marble main wall. The light ribbons serve to guide the visual movement. The back wall of the sofa is framed by a wooden grille that echoes the vista of the entrance, creating an atmosphere of tranquility. A contemporary painting by Yoshitomo Nara adds a touch of modernity to the home.
Instead of a rigid division of fields, straight corridors are used as axes, allowing the areas to be independent yet connected to each other. In the pursuit of a comfortable, healthy, and safe environment, sustainable and environmentally friendly and low formaldehyde materials are being used.
A mother's love for her children is unconditional and selfless. After having raised two children, she hopes to fulfill her dream of designing the house with less weight of responsibility on the shoulders. In terms of design, instead of cold lines and patterns, high quality elements are used to create a boutique-like luxury space. The house will become a safe harbor for the children. Whenever they encounter difficulties and obstacles, they can always come home and feel the warmth of the family.
