Unique Properties
The designer used lots of linear lighting to enhance the layers of the design, and to bring out the high ceiling structure of the building. Also, the lighting arrangement extends the vision, and presents the minimal characteristic of the space.

Production Technology
Walls of living room and kitchen are made of Grigio Fantasy Travertine Antique, a top-class material imported from Brazil. The starry pattern of the stone seems to absorb people inside and stop the time, reminding the host to cherish every moment.
Design Challenge
The corridor on the second floor is imitated the figure of gallery; thus, the non-popular works of Lei Shi and Bernard Buffet are hung on the walls of corridor. The designer would like to present the hosts rebellious and unique taste of aesthetics, connecting people and the space which can helps to provide inspirations to the host.
Project Duration
The project finished in June 2019 in New Taipei City, Taiwan.
Operation Flow
Concrete walls are replaced with French window and glass, introducing not only sunlight but scenery from the outside. Each space is arranged appropriately; the designer simplified the redundant decoration, at the same time, he left the space for functional storage. Though the space is depicted in a low-key luxury style, design and life intertwine with each other.
Research
The sofa in the living room is made of oiled and waxed leather which will develop a patina as time goes by. The marked contrast between the stone and leather weakens the sense of oppression from the roughness.
