The house owner of this project is an eligible bachelor; thus, the core concept of the interior design is a combination of maturity, youth, and brightness.

In terms of the material selection, eco-friendly decorative paint is used as the coating in the living room. The cabinets in the master bedroom and parents’ bedroom are made of EGGER wood-based panels which represent an environmentally friendly alternative to materials. Besides, the designer adopts non-timber forest products as the materials of flooring.
There were low ceiling beams in original entryway and dining room; also, there were excessive door planks in the living room and dining room, which made the traffic flow of the space be interrupted. Above reasons further caused the messy appearance of the space. To solve the problem, the designer installs the three-sided door frame at the entryway. Besides, the textured wall panels are selected as the material of sliding doors, which unify the appearance of the space.
The project finished in October 2020 in Taichung, Taiwan.

The installation of dehumidifier with intelligent dryness monitoring system help to balance the humidity and further achieve a more comfortable temperature indoor reducing the use of air conditioner. The system cabinets and hardware are able to be disassembled and reassembled in other places which reduces extra consumption and present the spirit of sustainability.
