Production Technology
Different materials as the warm fireplace and the cool marble contrast between black and white, in which the collision of cold and warm forms a harmonious and distinct aesthetic feeling.
Design Challenge
The in-depth and transparent family room is not boring and unobstructed, but is uniquely attractive under the tension of "seems to be broken but not broken completely" and "like to be separated but not totally separated."
Project Duration
The project finished in May 2020, in Dongguan, China.
Operation Flow
Different function spaces use different materials to divide the layout, defining these different areas with individuality. In addition to increasing the interest of the space, the style and change in each space also have natural inheritance and continuity. The connection between different spaces is flexible, transparent, and harmonious.
Research
As the first smart home in China, Jingcai Future Home is the first to understand thoroughly the coming era of green, healthy and smart living, empowering life with technology and interpreting the future with intelligence.
Inspiration
The unknown of the future always surprises and fascinates people. The designer tries to create a "future home" with a strong sense of science fiction, which integrates science and technology into the design to construct a specific space and characteristic social atmosphere, thus, enjoying the fashionable lifestyle brought by design.
Project Overview
Jingcai Future Home Model Room has been a Bronze winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
