This space has applied wooden tonal as its central theme. Materials with different wood grains are piled up along with white marble stones; the natural grains of the woods and the marble have created a profound and exquisite spatial atmosphere. In this square-shaped non-decorated house, each area is secretly divided through materials of vertical and axis. A smooth yet transparent traffic flow is created through the designer use of an appropriate amount of glass materials; meanwhile, the materials have also created a visual extension for the space.

Marbles, artificial stones, painted copper plates, karaya veneer, painted solid veneer plates, laminated wooden floorings.
An existing beam-column is built above the television wall; therefore, the designer has softened the sense of towering by the segmentation of rough wooden materials; linear lightings in light yellow are also embedded to let out users focus, creating a more expansive and transparent spatial feeling. At the same time, different materials in the same color tones, the arrangement of the semi-open-end, and the glass facades have also given clarity to the residence; this project has broken through traditional interior designs and has created the balance between each area secretly and harmoniously.
The project started in March 2014 and finished in April 2015 in Taiwan.
The client has paid more attention to the usability of the kid. The designer preserved an expansive hallway in the public area, selected a lower sofa, a television cabinet, and preserved a kid room to allow the toddler to have fun without limitations in residence. According to the client needs, the kid room can also be adjusted into a lounge or a playroom. The overall has applied the same tonal; with the warm touches of the wooden materials, the transformations between each area are more peaceful, accessible, and low-key.
The designer has selected materials and elements in line with performance according to each area, such as the waterproof and stain-resistant kitchen countertops, the low furniture selection, and the wooden tones that soften the beam-column; different materials have co-existed to add layers to the space. At the same time, vertical and horizontal linear materials are used within the open-end spatial; the other materials have secretly divided each area to give the owner a more transparent and expansive traffic flow.
This project is a non-decorated house. The overall applied wooden materials with warm characteristics as the main tonal while combing natural lightings; the dark and light grains of the materials have created a unique and peaceful atmosphere. At the same time, an expansive and smooth traffic flow is designed to allow the client children to have fun in the space freely; low furniture arrangements are also applied to create an unbound living experience for both adults and kids.
