Apartment Design for Pure Interior Design Limited Company
Based on the French classical style, the design is to interpret the stylish tone of the space with grey toned colors. The designer combined the white ceiling with hidden air conditioning equipment and beams. Meanwhile, the gray blue color of the furniture is complemented by the use of stone work for the tile flooring to express delicacy. The elegance of the space is brought out by the flow of textures, creating a timeless style with both taste and texture.

Unique Properties
The soft and elegant French neoclassical style forms a romantic residence. The elegant and complex French skirting boards are used to match the ceiling skirting boards with style. The unity of materials and colors, and the open up layout of the space allow for interaction and dialogue between the three different public areas with comfort. The space is in the gray tone with the crystal light fixtures, the space is decorated with a marble like tile floor, revealing a sense of understated luxury.

Production Technology
In order to satisfy the taste of the owners, who love Italian wine and artworks, the artwork is combined with the common bathroom door to decorate in the public area. The flooring is beautifully finished with tiles using the seamless method used for marble material, making the tiles look like whole pieces instead of one by one, allowing the beautiful pattern to enhance the details of the space.
Design Challenge
In order to achieve the ideal air circulation and air conditioning configuration, all air conditioning systems are installed in the ceiling. In addition, there are many thick beams blocking the eyesight, so the designer uses the height difference of the ceiling to hide the beams and uses a sloping design in the ceiling above the dining room to raise and extend the view and reduce the sense of oppression through the eyesight difference of hierarchy.
Project Duration
The project finished in May 2021 in Taoyuan, Taiwan.
Operation Flow
The entrance is transformed by the TV wall, using the curves on both sides of the TV wall to create an enveloping and grand visual effect, and using the curved surface to enlarge the entrance, opening up the scale of the walkway restricted by the beams and columns. The curved surface is also used to guide the flow of people, so that family members in the living rooms can easily interact with each other.
Research
The designer had a phased approach to the color scheme of the space. In order to make the space full of lines and textures without being too wild visually, we discussed with the owner and decided to use gray as the main color tone. There are many shades of gray, and the cool gray is not suitable for the romantic style, so the blueish gray tone is used to match each material and the gray blue color of the furniture to show a clean space.
Inspiration
This project is designed for a couple of doctors. The man prefers a subtle and understated minimalist design style, emphasizing air circulation and temperature and humidity; the woman prefers a romantic and luxurious French classical style, emphasizing the function of living matching her taste, plus hosting family and friends at home. Working out the needs of both, the designers achieve the requirement of living style in a low key luxury.
