Acronis Sofia office area, spreads over 5 floors in one of the most progressive office buildings in Sofia, NV Tower. Helen Koss Interiors was tasked to developed an office design based on the company's brand identity. The development of the layout and the design was done via online workshops with collaboration of multiple teams within the company located worldwide. The design team implemented the highest standards of finishes, security features, hygiene and innovation. The inspiration for illumination in recreation and collaboration areas was drawn from the mesmerizing works of James Turrell.

Unique Properties
The office of Acronis Sofia spreads over 5 floors in one of the most progressive office buildings in Sofia, NV Tower. The concept was developed with consideration of the global company brand policies and highest standards of finishes, security, hygiene and innovation. During the challenging time of the global pandemic. The development of the design was done with collaboration and coordination of multiple teams within the company located in different countries and even continents.

Production Technology
New developments in the field of Hygiene were implemented, such as self cleaning WC from CWS-boco Deutschland GmbH. Together with the HVAC technical team we were able to integrate a UV purification system into the pure air supply to the office. All areas of WC have automatic "NO TOUCH" doors in order to minimize the spread of bacteria via physical contact. All drinking water machines are from https://www.waterlogic.com/ with integrated filters and UV for maximum purification from bacteria and viruses

Operation Flow
The space was planed and decorated in such manner that it will remain unforgettable once visited. The impact of the brand DEEP BLUE COLOR is so vast on the visitors that they can not get it out of their mind. upon the entry you immediately know that you are in Acronis.
Research
The design was data driven, and developed based on quantitative research of data gathered from the clients data base and qualitative research based interviews and workshops with the team. The design team conducted several initial meetings in order to determine the general needs of the client. Data was collected from several locations of already existing offices of the client which are worldwide spread. The research included interviews of key employees, analysis of the space, workflow analysis and analysis of company/employees rituals gathered from the existing company sites.
Inspiration
The inspiration and the basis of the design development was taken from the Acronis brand, our team has developed a visual and spatial perception of the company essence, by integrating the brands ethics, values and visuals into the space. For the leisure area of the we were inspired by the works of James Terrell .

Acronis Sofia Office Space has been a Iron winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2021 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition.
