Natural stones, Wooden elements, British style, Iron pieces, Modern
For the materials, we utilized stones to make spaces look more spacious, wood veneer, which add a different touch to home and create elegant and mild ambience; iron pieces and titanium plating materials, which bring the calm and refined style to home, baking paint, which gives the home an aesthetic appeal, wall coverings with various veins, which creates a unique look.
How to use different styles to create a cohesive look with special colors is main challenge. By building hidden wall storage to strike a balance between functionality and aesthetics.
The project started in September 2019, and was completed in December 2020 in Changhua, Taiwan.
In order to create exotic style, referring to many international design projects. Finally, choosing materials which accentuate lines and textures for this project.
The ground floor is decorated with stone elements, which is the fathers favorite style, and a gallery-like display area is arranged for him to show his collections. The second floor has living room, dining room, and kitchen, the luxury stone decorations elevate the dining experience. The warm and elegant country style is added to the third floor to create a cozy and relaxing place for the mother. The fourth floor is the son’s space, the unique wall design gives a European ambience. The fifth floor is turned into a cafe-like decor, which allows the daughter to capture life with camera. Moreover, on the fifth floor, a paradisiacal space is designed for pets.
Each floor has different styles, just like five separate projects. For the ground floor and the second floor, utilizing natural stones with splash veins to create calm and splendid ambience. For the third floor, interior trims, pale orange wall coverings, wooden elements are utilized to bring out the classic style.
