This house is built for a family of three, because the owners love music and travelling all over the world. A sense of casualness, piano, communication, sense of space, interactivity, the connection of beauty and practicality, storage space and more. are some keywords given by the owners to us. In the design of the interiors, a modern minimalist architecture was chosen with a combination of the light resort style in the garden to create a stylish, simple and elegant quality of life.
Residence, Nature, Piano, Communication, Interactivity
In creating the space, the design team tried to stay as close as possible to the warmth and simplicity of natural materials. Such sd ceramic tile slabs, natural marble, wood finishes and solid wood flooring to keep the space with a unique texture, calm in appearance, but carrying the richness of life. In terms of color, the entire building space uses white and original wood colors to create a Nordic slow-paced living atmosphere, while the furniture furnishings add high-quality mahogany furniture, aiming to bring out a touch of delicacy in the simple space.
In this case, the elevator and staircase in the middle are the highlights of the whole design. The glass-permeable Swedish elevator allows natural light to extend horizontally and vertically throughout the villa, enriching the light and shadow effects in more areas, and the daylight pouring down creates a sense of vertical movement in the center of the building. The daylight pouring down creates a vertical movement in the center of the building, not only enlivening the space but also eliminating the boundary between the outdoor environment.
This project is located in Zunyi City, Guizhou Province and was completed in 2021.
The layout is planned for 5 floors, including two underground garages, storage rooms and entertainment spaces, etc., as well as living places and rest spaces on the ground three floors. The designer uses a simple structure applied to each space design to create overall harmony and artistry, changing the traditional Jiangnan Chinese architecture closed structure and taking its essence to enhance the multiplicity of space residential design. Natural light, as the main element of the entire architectural space, enters the interior through the courtyard, garden and large glass windows, allowing the interior and exterior to be interconnected and presenting a diverse spatial hierarchy.
During the design process, the design team and the owner made continuous communication and adjustment to optimize the project. The main experience of the final project is in the white space, which is actually convenient for the owner to live in the space and change it with the change of time, and not to fix it forever by framing or framing, so that it can become a diversified property of the space.
