Unique Properties
The project combines the concept of interstellar theme with the function of birthday cake shop. The central area of the store is a large cake display cabinet with star shape. The ceiling is installed with a number of artistic paint and stainless steel spheres or hemispheres. Combined with the fuzzy reflection of the frosted mirror stainless steel ceiling, the whole space has the illusion of interstellar space and creates the atmosphere of birthday cake.

Production Technology
The walls and main shapes in the store use the same material, and they also bear the needs of conceptual expression and structural functions of space. This is a new type of rammed earth material, which is waterproof, soaking resistant and presents the texture of natural soil. We turn it into red to express the planet soil and the texture of the cake. Let the whole space express the theme of interstellar space. And with a strong sense of food.The ceiling is made of special frosted mirror stainless steel. Its fuzzy reflection makes the whole space more layered and imaginative.
Design Challenge
The focus of the conceptual creative stage is how to reflect the atmosphere of the birthday cake, and help Meili family brand establish an image experience different from other brands. The difficulty in the design stage is that the space is relatively small, but it should show the infinity and illusion of interstellar space. On the other hand, it should reflect the dual attributes of the planet and food.
Project Duration
The project will be started in Jiaxing in October 2021 and completed in Jiaxing in August 2022.
Operation Flow
The cake display area is the core area of the store. The clerk introduces hundreds of cake styles to the guests along the satellite ring of the huge planet. Behind the planet is the constellation corridor, where you can find your seat and taste dessert with your best friend. Inside the planet is a ball-shaped stage, with the cake of the lucky child of the day placed in the middle, and the scattered low platform and seats opposite, where you can make an appointment to hold a birthday party.
Research
The overall pink makes people feel happy and echoes the mood of the birthday. At the same time, with the texture of rammed earth, it has the feeling of dessert. The seemingly indistinct stars in the ceiling are integrated with the huge stars and cakes that fall on the ground, which makes people feel dreamy and full of imagination.
Inspiration
Our birthday time corresponds to a mysterious constellation. This interstellar secret determines our character and destiny. We hope that the birthday day will be full of ceremonies, and the most important part of this ceremony is the birthday cake. The cross-section of the cake is similar to the surface of the planet. We integrate the sweetness of the cake and the mystery of the constellation in this illusory cake star space.
