Residential House for Stable Dada Interior Design
Instead of a typical layout, the house is designed and tailored based on the house owners' lifestyle and aesthetics. A unique home is created by bringing flower arrangements, wine tasting, and art to life. A cave is the most primitive human architecture. To return to the essence, extensive paint in gray shades connects the flowing and winding curves. The design tries to give residents the feeling of exploring a cave. The meditative tea room is bathed in "shadows" and "serene".

Instead of a typical layout, the house is designed and tailored based on the house owners' lifestyle and aesthetics. A unique home is created by bringing flower arrangements, wine tasting, and art to life. Without the constraints of a square frame, the coatings, arcs, curves, and halos add a gallery-like serenity. By surrounding oneself with artworks, a space that promotes relaxation and creativity is created.

Natural teak, stainless steel titanium-plated metal, iron parts, Changhong glass, paradise, super wear-resistant wooden floor, Japanese spruce solid wood, Malaysian teak, natural rush tatami, coral soil, far infrared solid wood floor
A tea room is located in the most secluded corner of the house, bringing in the spirit of the traditional Japanese tea ceremony. A whole new look is created by incorporating shoji door, tatami, transom, head jamb, etc. With a fresh mind, a journey of self-reflection is initiated by turning to the authentic textures that emphasize the inner nature.
The project is finished in January 2023 in Tainan City, Taiwan.
Upon opening the door, a three-dimensional circular vista is carved out in the painted wall. The faint light accentuates the hostess's flower arrangements, and gradually relaxes the mind in a less saturated environment. The curved surface guides the traffic flow, blurring the fields through the invisible borders as well as extending the vision. In the public space, the 3-meter long table in the center offers multiple functions. It is the perfect place for the homeowner to entertain guests. The neighboring couch continues the curved shape. Above it is a ripple-like circle. It echoes the circle image and also serves as a scent diffuser, creating the best experiences for all the senses.
The base of the kitchen island is covered with paint and metal-like materials. Along with the above metal pendants, these materials create contrasts aesthetically. A wall divides the public and private spheres. Behind the pair of double doors is the wonderland for the houseowners. Wood and rattan furniture pieces embody the elegant aesthetics of "less is more". Without decorative materials, the extensive paint in the bedroom creates a tranquil atmosphere, bringing purity back to life.
A cave is the most primitive human architecture. To return to the essence, extensive paint in gray shades connects the flowing and winding curves. The design tries to give residents the feeling of exploring a cave. The diffused light creates an intangible connection in the subdued environment. To bring warmth and simplicity to the space, modest woodworks decorate the furniture pieces and corridors. The meditative tea room is bathed in "shadows" and "serene". Shoji door softly filters light into space, reflecting the beauty subtly and implicitly in the antique furnishings.
