The project house consists of 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 1 toilet, a living room, an open kitchen and an ironing room. Many products used in the project were designed and produced by local craftsmen in the region. Many antique pieces and items inherited from ancestors were reused. In the project where warm colors were used together, small references to family history were made with personalized details.

In the project, where mainly solid wood was used, cooperation was made with local teams and craftsmen for all wood and stone manufacturing. A few special pieces by a local wood carver are also included. The products designed for the project were made from a special stone extracted from the local marble quarry.
Although Dalyan is a summer region, the project owners dream of moving here from the city and living here year-round in the coming years. For this reason, even though it was designed as a summer house, all the necessary infrastructure has been prepared for living in this house in all 4 seasons. The project owners refer to this house as their "dream house".
The project started in September 2021 and finished in August 2022. It is located in Dalyan, Mugla City, Turkiye.
The idea behind this project, where each detail carries its own story and the craftsmanship of local artisans is emphasized, is truly inspiring. The fact that every piece of furniture or decorative object has a story behind it deepens the character of the house and provides clues about the identities of those who inhabit the space. The console crafted by the wood carving master from Antep should not just be seen as furniture, but rather as an artwork. The masterful craftsmanship of wood carving brings a tradition from the past into the present, enriching the atmosphere of the house. Similarly, the bird-patterned embossed armchair at the main entrance, made by local artisans in Dalyan, reflects their skill. This armchair, carved from block marble stone by a sculptor, not only serves as a seating area but also enriches the atmosphere of the house as an artwork. The details crafted by local artisans seem to narrate a story within the interior space of the house. In short, this house, where the labor and skill of artisans are felt in every detail, serves as an inspiring example in terms of aesthetics.
This 2-story house, located in Fethiye Dalyan and overlooking the Kings' Tombs, boasts a usable area of 280m2. We have learned that there is a deep-rooted connection between Dalyan and the homeowners, as their elders have been living here for many years. This information, along with the house embracing the beauty of its surroundings and making it feel like it belongs here, adds even more significance to everything. The house is planned as a vacation home where the couple will live with their two daughters, aiming to make the occupants feel intimate and warm in the space. The interior design takes into account the geographical features of the region to create a colorful and intimate family environment.
