The museum utilizes LED displays and touchscreens as a medium for displaying information to visitors, creating an interactive experience. Additionally, it employs dynamic ring screens, interactive robotic arms, and miniature models, all controlled by multimedia control technology, to establish an intelligent performing system that enhances the artistic atmosphere with advanced technology.
The challenge lies in creating an immersive experience of the industrial civilization for visitors. To overcome this, the design team incorporated intelligent technology in the exhibition hall, which included interactive screens, interactive spaces for EVs, and smart lifts to present 3D visual effects. The integration of these facilities ensured the intuitive conveyance of the exhibition content while providing visitors with an immersive experience that evoked a sense of future technology.
The project was designed and developed in January 2022 and officially opened in December 2023 in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province.
The exhibition hall employs cutting edge technologies to present modern visual effects such as light, electricity, three dimensional animation, and film. Coupled with the interactive functionality of the large screen, which multiple individuals can share, the exhibition hall offers visitors an immersive audio and visual experience. The screen displays the product information in real time, providing visitors with up to date information.
Throughout history, there has been a drive towards the innovation of industrial control, as exemplified by the flying wooden bird of Lu Ban, the wooden oxen and horses of Zhuge Liang, and the mileage drum wagon of Zhang Heng. All of these inventions reflect the pursuit of people for a better life. To this end, the museum showcases the evolution of modern industrial control automation technology and cutting-edge industrial products, emphasizing the legacy and growth of industrial civilization.
The history of industrial civilization inspired the project, and central island booths have been placed throughout the ground floor in a way that looks like water droplets in space. The floor textures imitate the river flow running between the booths, representing the transformation of accumulated water into a river. The river flow continues onto the first floor as floating belts that extend the entire space, bringing light and transparency to the exhibition hall while connecting various areas.
