Bluemoon Design, Kelly Lin, resort design, natural design
The interior space is dominated by gypsum gray and natural wood color. Made of natural materials, elegant furniture such as the rustic wooden chairs and stools, polished marble table and rattan handicrafts have highlighted the friendly and peaceful atmosphere of the space. A wooden table tells the story of the ancient times with its unique texture; overhead is the chandelier composed of many branches and bubble-like acrylic lamps, creating a relaxing and elegant atmosphere.
Space design is not only to present a kind of style or art, but to highlight the beauty of life and bring the sense of belonging. A humanistic design asks the designer to draw inspirations from local culture and characteristics and interpret it thoroughly using imaginative art forms and advanced skills to create warm and unique spaces, allowing visitors to experience the essence of the local culture.
Project Location: Xiaogan, Hubei Province, China Completion Date: June, 2019
The space design keeps its continuity with simple but elaborate skills. Instead of exaggerated luxury, sophisticated arts and deliberate details, it creates a harmonious space that dialogues with nature. In the space, one can find the simple but elegant colors, the primitive but meaningful materials, and the dream of returning to nature.
Developed by China Towering Group with a total investment of 8 billion yuan, Yingcheng National Mining Park is created to be a new ecotourism town composed of Gypsum Cultural Square, Museum, Four seasons Hot Spring Resort, Southeast Asian Garden, etc. The exhibition center of the Four Seasons Hot Spring Resort nestles snugly by the lake in the northwest of the town, enjoying beautiful lake views as well as great peace and harmony. It will allow the visitors to experience the interest and charm of nature.
Drawing inspirations from the tradition of hot springs, gypsum and salt, the designer has skillfully interpreted the warmth and modesty of the exhibition space using natural materials such as wood, stone, hessian, bamboo and rattan.
