Giving the residents more imaginations of the fantasy kingdom called freedom.

In this design, the main style is minimal design, without surplus decoration to bring out the original appearance of the material. The white tone is the main body of design. It highlights the most natural beauty of the material and creates a clean atmosphere of the space. In the unlimited space, enlarge the spacious and bright sense of space with white tone. In this minimal design, giving the residents more imaginations of the fantasy kingdom called freedom.

The space is area defining by the floor material, divide the living room and the dining room. The wooden floor of the living room lasted to the private space, connecting the whole space. Using light color wood grain, clean white wall and a few dark iron pieces, mellow concrete is fair face paint interacts with each other at this space. It is no decorate with surplus fancy lines, make the space present elegant feel.
We did not provide ceiling but keep the existing beam that crossing the public space and separate living room and reading area by the beam.
The project started in February 2019 and finished in August 2019 in Taichung City, Taiwan.
This case is apartment building of two baths, two living rooms and three bedrooms. It is original space pattern has the advantages of good lighting. Public areas use open style and place them on the same axis, so that the visually connected. There are various possibilities in space use, not just on the visual level. Designer persists in the idea of space to connect the spatial fluency and let more natural light fall into the public and private space. The lights and shadows given space expression. The case design intent is to create delicate and various lifestyles, interactive visual extension from the inside to outside space.
We uses recycled eco-friendly materials and comply with national standard is healthy green building materials. According to research, residents are average at least staying home 16 hours, so that we choose the wood veneer painted which is characterized by low toxicity and low risk of health risks. The Lotos plaster's predecessor is reservoir sludge. Many water reservoirs have the serious problem of silting up in Taiwan. This is a special new technology to place the traditional mode. New build material has greater air permeability and also waterproof. It can prevent the efflorescence and wall mold.
Enter the space, public areas are no physical wall barrier. The decoration also abandons too many unnecessary decorations, making the space visual focus from the entry is the spacious public area with French windows. A large amount of sunlight giving the whole space a broad and bright atmosphere. The simplest material highlights the purest form of space, creating a comfortable space. Its pure and natural feeling of space brings the residents the most plain imagination of space.
