The design principle encompasses the 3 elements I, O and X. I represents the lines in mirrors conformable to the square and firm factors favored by the house owner; O represents the entire circular components in this design project that symbolize the rewards and perfections by working hard moderating the rigid lines; X represents the children’s favorite movie X-Men that the designer simulated the movie scenes with the light fixtures and wardrobes.
The project finished on the 1st of April 2017 in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
The design of the office, on the 2nd floor, is based on the contemporary minimalism and wooden textures, thus manifesting the charisma of space with the mixed design style. The house comprehensively decorated the clear glass windows and window shades gets sufficient daylight. The built-in wall wood closets are much space efficient. The wood meeting table is also a dining table, above of which the stylish circular ceiling lamps harmonize the brown space with the gentle lights.
The area of balcony extension, on the 4th floor, is remodeled into the eldest sons room that, given his favorite movie X Men, is decorated with the rotating TV that distinguishes the room into the study room and bedroom. This room decorated with the fair-concrete walls exposes the delicate allurement in the cold gray tone space. The x shape lights over the headboard and the x silver lines on the black veneer wardrobes accentuate the element x in the room design. The youngest sons room, on the 5th floor, is decorated with the skateboards, which as his favorite sport and collections, that construct the exclusive space for himself.
The cold color tone of grey is comprehensively painted in the house that, with the decoration materials of fair faced concretes and leathers, exposes the low-key, elegant and composed feelings. Considering the water leak caused by the poor quality of the previous construction project extending outwards the balcony with the sloped window, the designer specifically remodeled this area into the study room the eldest son.
