Bending the classic and modern style houses, with all kinds of stone and elegant woods, brings out the dark style that is different from the common popular home style. The dreamy texture of the stone is used as a hint to create different contextual connections with other materials in the public and private areas, playing with the limit of stone performance, and transforming the aesthetic of life into daily details.
Yara style, Modern Neo-classical, Marble, Fishbone collage, Different materials
Echoing the spirit of environmental protection, most of the stone is taken from the factory leftovers, and the space is decorated with various collage methods. The stone can be divided into three parts; the splashed ink stone is used as a connection of the TV wall and open dining room, the floor is a geometric collage of fish and white stone leftovers. At the back of the dining room cabinet, the original red-green dragon-phoenix stone is used.
In order to meet the needs of the clients for a large amount of storage and display of collections, the design team constructs a customized and user friendly space through a detailed understanding of the clients living habits, whether the dressing room for male and female, and a compartment for pets under the stairs, or a clever use of H steel beam to place the platform. Everything is customized for the clients and echoing the living needs and demands.
The project started in December 2018 and finished in August 2019 in Taipei, Taiwan.
The design team used a large amount of stone as the focal point of the space, and most of it was taken from the factory leftover materials. The design team cleverly used block connections of different materials, and collages them. The fish bone collage methods is used for the floor of the living room, dining room, and study room. The design team uses galvanized reflecting railway bricks to create blocks of different materials under the beam, creating a mix and match style of bathroom space that is classical and luxurious and high in technology.
The Heaven Villa is a start from zero project, and the design team used elegant stone and carbonized wood with special dark color tone to meet the requirement of the male client who likes classical and modern contrast style. Clever use of different materials and LED light bar to create a customized moving line. The design team used the factorys leftover materials to create a consistent Yara style on the first and second floor. With the combination of collage, mosaic, and different materials, the design team brings out a beautiful and practical home.
In terms of style, in order to meet the different expectations of male and female clients, the use of stone can express both classical and modern design vocabulary, and the dark color tone is just special, balance the strong style conflicts. The block collage of the headboard in the master bedroom is an attempt of the design team to find harmony in asymmetrical elements, which create a modern atmosphere.
