Unique Properties

Design Challenge

It is a challenge to limit the angle of looking for viewing in a long and narrow space as the core of the field. The two-way and open between looking and being looked are the main concepts of this design. The high stage blurs the stage boundary to allow the performer to integrate into the crowd at any time, and the audience also forms a sense of interaction in the visual performance. The original large arc-shaped window allows too much light to enter the field, and the interleaved arrangement of walls and windows is deliberately designed to form the spatial charm of the light beam. With deliberately digging a small hole in the wall to tell the story of stealing light in space, and expand people's desire for reading.

Operation Flow

In order to embed more clues for reading, when designing the space, carefully thought out like carved text, staggering and stacking ancient books and bricks, and then covering them with concrete, the book is a carrier of space and time, revealing All the works need to be excavated, and they are presented with challenges through the different interfaces of books and red bricks and concrete.

Research

Organic design often retains the essence of the space and uses open and transparent compression techniques to allow us to feel the breath of the flowing field in a seemingly static three-dimensional space building.
