The design team then integrated the natural elements outside the window into the home environment, combined with the use of organ curtains to reduce the shading of the natural scenery, and introduced the green trees and distant mountain scenery outside the window. In addition to the selection of environmentally friendly green building materials, the overall plan carefully examines the consistency of indoor and outdoor environments, thereby achieving the echoing connection effect of indoor and outdoor spaces, through the flow of wind and changes in light.

This project uses simple and concise design techniques, using clean lines, gentle wood materials, and white and gray color harmony. It is a multi-layered space that is interlaced to each other and not using any artificial elements. Create a relaxing and warm modern home for newlyweds who travel frequently. The open public area and the study room with clear glass as the compartment allows good ventilation and lighting to flow into the space, bringing in nature into the whole space, especially due to the site is surrounded by maple forest outside, so that the beauty of red leaves can be integrated into everyday life.

Since the site is a more than 20 years old house, during the renovation process, there are many problems to be overcome. In addition to the pipeline and walls reparation problems, especially in the face of the heavy tension caused by the ceiling beams, the design team used the beveled KD coating plate to hide this beam, and eliminate the defects caused by the beam and column in the form of geometric color blocks, welcoming in a spacious and comfortable visual beauty.
The project was finished in August, 2019 in Taipei City, Taiwan.
Because the original public toilet space in this project was larger than the standard size for the general residential space, and the client wanted to have more spacious dining and entrance areas, the design team readjusted the walls position of the public toilet. This will free up more space for the public area. In addition, the design team also readjusted the scale of the TV wall, and used the space under the desk behind the TV wall as the storage space of TV equipment, improving the comfort of watching TV. At the same time, the idle space is also effectively used to make the space feels more spacious.
Enlarging the visual and spatial scale in limited space is the focus to the project. Due to the excellent site conditions and the modern and elegant personality of the client, the design team arranged the layout with fresh and bright colors, with a spacious, smooth circulation. Using transparent material, the designer integrated outdoor green scenery into the project with simple but precise techniques. In addition to effectively blocking ultraviolet rays, the specially selected cellular shade can also block the heat outside the window, bringing a comfortable and pleasant homey atmosphere.
According to the personality style of the male and female clients, the inertial logic of daily life and the site position in the urban area, people can enjoy the green scenery outside the window, and see the romantic beauty of maple leaves turning red in autumn. The design team specially integrated the natural elements outside the window into the design concept of this work. Through the use of warm and comfortable wood materials, together with the use of clear glass, organ curtains, and environmentally friendly green building materials, the space is designed in a simple modern style.
