Since the client has a strong belief in the traditional Chinese Feng Shui, and the house is a three-generation house so there are eight members in the family. Therefore, the Feng Shui and the living habits of each family member must be well considered in the layout, circulations, and even the design style, these factors also make the design and construction process full of challenges. Besides, the house had a water leakage problem. During the early stage, an advanced engineering process was used to repair the pipelines, walls, and other places to ensure that the site is healthy and safe.
The project finished in February 2020 in Hsinchu city, Taiwan.
Since the client believes in traditional Chinese Feng Shui, this project integrates the layout and circulation planning based on the Feng Shui master to create a suitable living space for the whole family. In addition, the design team also implements hidden door design to beautify the space, use modern technology and design ingenuity to enhance the overall functional characteristics, and creating the most comfortable and ideal home for the family of eight.
The semi-permeable TV wall in the living room is made of gorgeous marble, which complements the imported Italian metal sheet, wooden metal, and balcony landscape. The private area is designed according to the users preferences, and a quiet and comfortable space atmosphere, providing the users with satisfaction and joy of a harmonious dialogue between soul and space. In the perspective of the great convenience that modern technology has offered, this house is equipped with smart devices in the living room, dining room, kitchen, and other areas to improve the function of the space of the house and avoid the possibility of energy waste.
This is a project designed for a wealthy three-generation family that shares a home space of 264 square meters. The design team takes the advantage of the sites, the living habits of the client, Chinese Feng Shui considerations, and design aesthetics, together with high-standard building materials, perfect layout configuration, smooth circulation, bright lighting, and other things, bringing out the pure and comfortable residential space with modern exquisite and warm atmosphere.
