Residence for Secure Stone Architectural Space Planning Firm
Distinguished by materials, colors and open layout, it embodies the aesthetic interaction around the city, life, nature and art. In accordance with the requirements of the owner, two bedrooms have been retained from the original house condition, and the triangular moving line concept of kitchen design is enlarged to the public area configuration. The 10-meter-long bar is used as the functional axis, extending outwards to the end points of the living room and dining room, connecting the interaction balance required by social contact and daily life.

Unique Properties
The theme of mansion is the integration of banquet socializing and family living. The designer arranges a fashion long bar with a width of 10 meters, which shapes the grand layout across the living room and banquet space. Through the elastic and independent space field, the mansion can meet the demand of private dinner for 30 people and improve the efficiency of moving line.

Production Technology
In the form of style aesthetics, the designer has adopted the meaningful and natural design concept, selected the environment-friendly materials, and combined with the spirit of art bionic, sublimating the natural charm of marble and veneer, contrasting with the bright and prosperous urban landscape, and transforming into a vibrant taste of modern luxurious mansion.
Design Challenge
How to implement the design core of environmental protection and health, integrate the use of environmental protection building materials, reduce the consumption of natural materials, and display the art culture and luxurious mansion taste, is the challenge of this case.
Project Duration
The project started and finished in 2022 in Taichung.
Operation Flow
To comply with the family's living and social banquet function catering for about 30 people, the 10-meter-long bar across the open field integrates the functions of bar, dining table, light meal preparation and so on. Through the independence and connection of living room, dining room and bar, the flexibility of the field can be preserved to respond to the needs of different activities flexibly and in stages. The private area is arranged at the bottom of the moving line, equipped with independent bathroom, dressing, storage and other functions, giving the optimal privacy and landscape vision.
Research
In order to achieve the optimal life and social moving line, the designer introduces the concept of triangular moving line in the public area, with the open bar as the functional core, and the living room and dining room as the two extension ends, to endow with the use flexibility that can be divided and combined in stages. The entrance of private area is divided by the art end wall, and the bathroom is set in the day lighting area, giving ample sleep privacy and creating a bright and comfortable bath atmosphere.
Inspiration
In the provision of functional services of metropolitan mansion, there are also elegant and meaningful style aesthetics, as well as a healthy and friendly life attitude. Through the combination and distribution of layout, the social banquet and home life can coexist harmoniously; the delicate texture of marble and wood leather is translated into organic and unique artistic life, which is naturally implanted into family life and social interaction.
Project Overview
Bionic Residence has been a Bronze winner in the Interior Space and Exhibition Design award category in the year 2022 organized by the prestigious A' Design Award & Competition. The Bronze A' Design Award is given to outstanding designs that showcase a high degree of creativity and practicality. It recognizes the dedication and skill of designers who produce work that stands out for its thoughtful development and innovative use of materials and technology. These designs are acknowledged for their professional execution and potential to influence industry standards positively. Winning this award highlights the designer's ability to blend form and function effectively, offering solutions that enhance people's lives and wellbeing.
