Production Technology
On the right side of the door, the gold lacquer screen from the Kangxi period, the yellow corduroy veneer bench in the Italian Art Deco style of the 1920s, and the antique cabinet with 18th century French fine wood inlaid on the left, they remind visitors who enter the "Butterfly House" To the taste of the owner. Then, directly in front of the entrance hall is the famous stainless steel rockery by the sculptor Zhan Wang. Obviously, this exquisite and imposing work plays a role as a gateway in the "Butterfly House".
Design Challenge

"Butterfly House" is a project with high aesthetic significance. Mr. Chi Chenping put great effort into the space design of "Butterfly House". In fact, the so-called "poetic dwelling" is nothing more than "Zhuang Zhou's dream of butterfly, body and materialization", and Chi Chenping's design concept fits the meaning of "butterfly dwelling".
Inspiration
After bidding farewell to the collectivist apartment-style family home concept, villas have long become the first choice for the dream dwelling of China's emerging wealthy class. However, exclusive real estate and larger space will not automatically produce a happy ideal of habitation and a moving aesthetic paradigm. The design of the "Butterfly House" space provides us with a model for discussion. The poetics that embodies the family house must be a balanced poetics.
