Production Technology

Impressed by the lightsome crane wings, you may gradually appreciate the romance and rustic delight outlined by the natural texture of stone and the vertical line of pillars. With primitive and luscious space temperament that offers relaxing feeling, the rustic luxury style is vividly portrayed.

Design Challenge

As a cup of coffee full of mellow fragrance could make customer relax instantly, the designer similarly makes the whole space more inclusive and rhythmic through pillar designs to offer tourists volume preservation in architecture.

Project Duration

The project started in August 2019 in Chengdu and finished in July 2020 in Chengdu.

Operation Flow

Tourist are brought "back to the earth" from the "fairyland" after they enter the lobby through a space transition from darkness to light formed by the enclosure of the corridor hall. As a homestay group in a village characterized by rustic luxury, Qingcheng Xicun Village provides a tour experience of making the tourists feel that they are in a "fairyland".

Research

It is a precious opportunity to retreat from bustle, enjoy the tranquility here and find pleasure through traveling over numerous fascinating mountains and rivers, and seeking the balance struck between architecture and nature. Based on the real nature, a rural tourism town with rustic luxury style for vacation is built at the foot of Mount Qingcheng.

Inspiration

A relatively independent island-shaped Qingcheng Creek Village is built on the basis of the overall architectural planning to create "a fictitious land of peace". Tourists may enter the Village through a fascinating barrier at the entrance, and peep and appreciate disparate gorgeous sceneries amidst the landscape as if they are in a "fairyland".
