Bar for Hachico
The main inspiration for team was Japanese izakaya bars. These bars are authentic, located in Tokyo next to the Hachiko Monument. Family minibars with an open kitchen and fresh produce in the windows, where the tables are usually reserved in advance due to a lot of tourists. This format was new for Moscow, so designers tried to create a bar, full of natural materials and Japanese spirit. Its cozy withhandmade details and with unusual kitchen menu. Architects used almost one terracota colour to convey the atmosphere, but different materials and textures were used.

Unique Properties
Hachiko Inakaya Bar is a new and unic format for Moscow. The design of Japanese food service, especially outside of Japan, seems to be a very difficult task. We did our best to avoid typical decorating techniques in designing this bar. We deside to create an atmosphere of as you are seating between the roofs, thats why we use a lot of ceramic elements, exclusive ceramic tiles, warm terracota colours, unique wood and leather. The result was a moderately eclectic and sophisticated interior with subtle allusions to Japanese history. All ideas were implemented in a small area of 65 square m.

Production Technology
References to Japanese are traditional tiles, that cover the whole wall, natural stone and wood finishes. All focuses on the signature style of life of the Japanese in unity with nature. Atmosphere supported by color scheme, light brown, gray walls, black and light beige colors.Catchy tile panels are adjacent to the tiles on the floor, and the surfaces of tables with wood patterns are combined with a velvet upholstery of furniture. We competently planned lighting scenarios in the main hall. During the day the space is flooded with sunlight, and in the evening a cozy twilight is created.
Design Challenge
A lot of custom work with ceramic tiles, cement tiles and elements. Cork tables, bronse custom made full size Akita Iny dog. The senter of the bar is robata grill, not tipical for Moscow. All natural materials. Six metres wood slab bar top.The harders was that all the element were custom, exept of Garsnas chairs.

Operation Flow
We tried to make a feeling that we are sitting on a street between old low roofs houses. And everyone is promised a vivid gastronomic spectacle, the result of which will be kindly served on a long wooden shovel in the best traditions of the Land of the Rising Sun.
Research
The inakaya bar is all about robata grill, seafood and coctails.Оne of the inner wall is made of ceramic roof tiles, the floor in also from concrete terracotta color tiles. The low bar facade is made from custom made ceramic elements.The main material for floors, ceilings and doors is plywood.The open kitchen is from special made piece of wood. Tables are from natural cork. We used Garsnas Madonna chairs in the interior. In toilets clever Toto washbasins are installed. The bronze Hachiko dog is seating outside, welcoming the guests.
Inspiration
The main source of inspiration for designers was Japanese izakaya bars. These bars are located in Tokyo next to the Hachiko Monument at Shibuya Station. These are family of cozy bars with an open kitchen, fresh products and robata grill in the heart.
